About Us
Our Mission
Huddle For Hearts® is a national life-saving initiative between The Peyton Walker Foundation, athletes and students dedicated to increasing awareness and survival rates of Sudden Cardiac Arrest.
Through the Huddle For Hearts® program, AEDs and CPR training are donated to youth sports organizations and youth service organizations, especially in underserved communities, where kids play, practice, and gather. Administering CPR and providing early defibrillation with an AED can mean the difference between life and death.
Athletes and students are encouraged to become Heart Heroes by helping to fundraise, securing performance-based sponsorships, and supporting AED placement and CPR training for coaches, players, and parents. We also provide guidance to create emergency response plans that save lives. For more information, contact Julie Walker.
Our Team
We have a passionate team and a strong commitment to our mission of increasing awareness and survival rates of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA). Our work focuses on improving access to AEDs, delivering quality CPR training and providing resources and education around SCA. Through our team’s relentless efforts, we are working to improve the survival rates of SCA - which are typically less than 10%.
